The Wounded Warrior Project

As a fraternity we are proud to show our support to returning wounded veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afganistan by directing our philanthropy efforts this year to The Wounded Warrior Project. Many of the young men and women who return from these areas of conflict are our very own age ... many not lucky enough to have had the privilege of attending college and enjoying the experiences we have every day at The University of Texas. There simply aren't enough words to show our appreciation for those who have made incredible sacrifices out of love for and devotion to our country. They fought to defend our freedom and have done far more than swear their allegiance; they have literally put their lives on the line for each and every one of us. Many have suffered in untold ways so that we could live soundly and safely in our homes, attend college and enjoy the lives we have here today. We should never forget what they have done for us; and honor them now and always.
